Catholic School's Inspection Report 2026
Please see the following report from our recent Catholic School Inspection in March 2026 which we have been waiting with excitement to share with our families.
We are so proud of what the report says and believe that it is an accurate reflection of the overall quality of the Catholic education that we provide at St Wilfrid's. When you look at the breakdown of the gradings, you will see that we are marked as Outstanding in 7/9 judgements!
During the feedback meeting to governors, the inspectors said so many wonderful things about our school family. A phrase that sticks out to me from this meeting and the report is:
"Pupils at St Wilfrid's are a genuine credit to the school their families, and the wider community, embodying the mission through their words, actions and relationships."
We agree with the areas identified for improvement and look forward to continuing to aspire to be the best school that we can be with the resources that we have.
We are also so grateful that we are so well supported by parents, carers and the wider parish community, and this report belongs to us all.
